That’s right – a very important election will he held this year. Voting delegates of PeakCare’s Member agencies will soon be asked to elect three persons to serve as Directors on PeakCare’s Board of Governance.

Call for the nomination of candidates

Do YOU (or someone you know) hold high-level expertise in relation to:

  • Governance of a human services organisation
  • Strategic planning and continuous quality improvement
  • Financial management and planning
  • Human resource management, industrial relations or workforce planning and development, and/or
  • Media management, marketing and communications?

If you have answered “Yes” to any of these questions, PeakCare invites you (or the someone you know) to consider accepting a nomination to stand for election to PeakCare’s Board.

Given the diverse range of organisations that comprise PeakCare’s membership, the Board is encouraging the nomination of candidates who are able to represent a wide cross-section of interests and concerns held by our members from across all parts of the State. The Board is also keen to ensure that it has the right mix of knowledge, experience, skills and attributes from which it can draw.

Have YOU got what it takes to perform the role of a Board Director in ensuring the sound governance of PeakCare? If this is a role that isn’t the right one for you but you know of others who might fit the bill, please forward this information on and encourage them to accept a nomination for election to the Board.

Closing date for receiving nominations

In respect of each candidate, a completed and signed Nomination Form and Candidate Election Statement must be received by close of business on Friday, 3rd November 2017.
