STOP Domestic Violence Conference: Providing a Platform for a Unified National Voice

The 3rd STOP Domestic Violence Conference Australia will showcase the theme ‘Domestic Violence Does Not Discriminate’ with nine featured speakers and over 50 expert stream/ workshop presenters. The conference aims to provide a platform for a unified national voice on ending domestic violence.

Statistics reveal that domestic violence is an epidemic in Australia. With the help of main stream media channels domestic violence is being exposed and the conversations that need to happen have started.  This conference aims to be informative and thought provoking by gathering professionals, academics, community support centres, victims and offenders to engage and connect and to look at ways to support the victims and prevent perpetrators of domestic violence.

The STOP Domestic Violence Conference Australia will address and encompass a variety of topics including impacts on the family, community, services and support, law enforcement, socioeconomic implications, research findings and protection of the vulnerable.
