The Coordinated Access Team is an initial access point for people experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness in the greater Brisbane region. The team is an integrated housing, healthcare and social support for homeless and vulnerable populations. By working in partnership with key community, housing, health, and government services, we aim to end homelessness in Brisbane through the provision of effective assistance to both individuals and families.

Micah Projects is seeking 2 x Support and Advocacy Workers to join the Coordinated Access Team.

This position requires in-reach to service locations across the Brisbane region to provide a triage and prioritisation services based on presenting needs to individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. It also requires outreach as part of planned support, to identified community, health and government services with the aim of working collaboratively.

Both positions are full time with a minimum of 38 hours of work available per week. One position is permanent, and the second is fixed term for a period of 6 months. Both are classified under the SCHADS Award 2010 – Level 3
